3-day medical conference to be held at BJ Govt Medical College

BJ Government Medical College has organised a three-day International Medical Conference ‘Respirare’ starting from August 2 to 4. The conference consists of a panel discussion on ‘Passive Euthanasia’ which will involve many intellectuals and events such as paper and case presentation and brainstorming quizzes.

The conference consists of a panel discussion on ‘Passive Euthanasia’ which will involve many intellectuals and events such as paper and case presentation and brainstorming quizzes. 

The conference will witness lectures and talks by few doctors and speakers from different walks of life i.e. Dr James Loomis, Medical Director of Barnard Medical Centre, Washington DC, Dr Jyoti Mathad, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, Dr Zeeshan Ali, Program Specialist at Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Washington DC, Air Marshal CK Ranjan, Commandant and Director of Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, Dr Arvinder Singh Soin, Chief Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgeon, Dr Satish Patki, Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF specialist, and Dr Sundeep Salvi, Directors, Chest Research Foundation, Pune.  

Somak Raychaudhary, Director of Inter-University Centre for Astrophysics and Astronomy (IUCAA) will grace the inauguration.

The valedictorian ceremony will be enriched by the presence of Dr Prakash Amte and Dr Mandakini Amte and they will also address the gathering. The conference also has MMC affiliation for College of Military Engineering (CME), where four CME credit hours will be granted to the delegates. The event has been sponsored by Mukul Madhav Foundation.
