2 gangs involved in burglaries busted

Pune: Two gangs involved in burglaries and vehicle thefts were nabbed by the Chinchwad police. Stolen material worth Rs 19 lakh was recovered from them. 

SPI Vitthal Kubde of Chinchwad police said the accused were identified as Ganesh Dagdu Shinde (24), Dilip Shikre (19), Rohidas Pawar (24) and Pramod Kshirsagar (36). The police have recovered gold and silver ornaments, a car, cash and two mobile phones, worth Rs 16 lakh.

PI Vinayak Salunkhe said that two persons identified as Hari Vetal (18) and Akash Jagtap (18) were arrested in another vehicle theft case. The police have recovered five two-wheelers.
