15 stolen two-wheelers recovered by Bhosari police

Police inspector Ajay Bhosale said that five other stolen two-wheelers were recovered from the accused

Pune: Officials of the Bhosari police station have solved 15 cases of two-wheeler thefts and arrested 8 persons in the case.

According to information given by Senior Police Inspector Dilip Kulkarni of Bhosari police station, police had received a tip-off that two accused, Sachin Chavan (25) and Rohidas Chavan (30), would be coming to Bhosari. Accordingly, the accused were nabbed while they were riding a stolen Activa. The accused were taken into custody and during interrogation police found that the accused are involved in ten two wheeler thefts in jurisdiction of Bhosari, MIDC, Chakan, Pimpri, Deccan and Shivajinagar.

Police inspector Ajay Bhosale said that five other stolen two-wheelers were recovered from the accused, identified as Ramesh Kadam (20), Akash Tipanvar, Arjun Asawale, Shahanawaj Sayyed and Amjat Samsher.
