10,531 students take admissions in round 2

Pune: With the end of the second regular round of admissions for the Standard XI online Centralised Admission Process (CAP), around 10,531 students out of the 24,536 who were allotted colleges in the second merit list took admissions for their respective courses on Tuesday.

After the second merit list was released on July 20, the students had three days to take admissions at the allotted colleges from July 21 to 24 (excluding Sunday). 

Pune: With the end of the second regular round of admissions for the Standard XI online Centralised Admission Process (CAP), around 10,531 students out of the 24,536 who were allotted colleges in the second merit list took admissions for their respective courses on Tuesday.

After the second merit list was released on July 20, the students had three days to take admissions at the allotted colleges from July 21 to 24 (excluding Sunday). 

Just as the first round of admissions, it was mandatory for all those who got the college of their first choice on the preference list to take admissions at the colleges allotted to them. 

In the second round, 5,333 out of the 6,884 students who got the colleges they best preferred took admissions. The rest 1,551 are now out of the admission process until the special round that will be held after all the regular rounds are over.
“The students who were allotted the colleges of their preference list number 2 to 10 had the option of waiting for the next list, and they can now change the colleges on their list from July 26 to 5 pm on July 27. Even those students whose forms are incomplete, or who haven’t yet filled the forms can do it from 11 am on July 26 till 5 pm on July 27,” Dinkar Temkar, Deputy Director of Education and President, Standard XI Online CAP Control Committee, Pune said.
The next merit list for the third round of admissions will be released on July 29.
