Pune: MKSSS’s Dr Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture for Women (BNCA), Pune, has launched ‘Garden Design and Development’, which is a 10-day intensive part-time course for those who love gardening, greenery and flowers from July 16 to 25.
The aim of the course is to provide training and guidance in garden development and maintenance to those interested including nursery owners, agriculturists, horticulture contractors, architects, interior designers, and professionals from any other background, and even homemakers who would like to know how to develop and maintain their own garden.
The course will mainly focus on aspects of planting right from seed sowing and potting to some of the latest concepts like bottle gardens, organic farming, terrace gardening and medicinal plants.
It also focuses on materials and services to be taken care while gardening. Practical and demonstrations will also be conducted.
This course is in three languages Marathi, Hindi and English.
The batch will have limited seats. The minimum qualification for the course is HSC pass.
After successfully completing the respective content of the syllabus a certificate will be awarded to the participants by BNCA.
