‘Many opportunities available in higher education in Estonia’

Pune: Students can now avail education opportunities in higher education and employment in Estonia, according to Ambassador of Estonia to India, Riho Kruuv who is in the city to promote studying 
in  Estonia.

in  Estonia. 

There are 300 seats reserved for international students at each of the eight universities comprising six public universities and two private universities. For admission procedures, candidates need to qualify International English Language Testing System (IELTS), should have 60 per cent and above in Std XII, followed by Skype interview and motivational letter, which will help them get a scholarship. 

There are 150 recognised degree programmes in English at bachelor, masters and PhD level with internationally recognised diplomas and scholarship possibilities. 

The Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia is taking efforts for a collaboration with Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) and Sinhgad institutes to offer faculty mobility and students exchange programmes. 

At present there are 140 students studying in Estonian universities.
