‘Lodge sedition case against two BJP mins in Kathua rape case’

PUNE: A group of city-based lawyers have demanded registration of a sedition case against two BJP ministers, who had participated in a rally in support of Kathua gang-rape and murder case accused in Jammu and Kashmir.

The ministers have since resigned. Advocate Tosif Shaikh, President of Advocacy Association, said, “We have given a complaint to Kondhwa police station but even after 10 days no FIR has been filed.”

Advocate Kumar Kalel said, “The police can register zero FIR here and send it to Jammu for further investigation as per provisions in the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).”
