Pune: Making allegations against Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS), Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said that MANS Founder late Narendra Dabholkar misled the society through his organisation and hence, scientist Anil Kakodkar should refuse to accept the Dr Narendra Dabholkar Memorial Social Award instituted by MANS. The award was declared to Kakodkar recently.
While speaking in a press conference, HJS spokesperson Parag Gokhale alleged, “Kakodkar is a scientist and he getting the Dabholkar award in itself is contradictory. Kakodkar’s contribution to the nation and world is indisputable, but accepting the award instituted in the name of a person who misled people through his organisation is unacceptable. Hence, he should refuse to accept the award.” He also made allegations against Dabholkar saying he was a fake doctor and so was his organisation.
