Design experts guide city youths

Patwardhan and Khan guided the students on the opportunities and changing scope of career in the field of designing. 

PIMPRI: The field of designing is unique, and hence it is necessary to keep innovating through novel ideas while working in it, said experts Bhagyashree Patwardhan and Waseem Khan while interacting with youths. 

They were speaking at the ‘YIN Talk’ organised by Sakal Young Inspirators Network (YIN) at SB Patil College of Architecture in Akurdi. 

Patwardhan and Khan guided the students on the opportunities and changing scope of career in the field of designing. 

Santosh Raskar of Srujan College of Design, Mahendra Sonawane, Principal, SB Patil College of Architecture, Rajendra Mhaske of Nutan Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Tejas Gujrathi, Chief Managing Director of Community Network, YIN, were also present on the occasion. 

Designer Waseem Khan said, “Each person has the art of designing in him or her. It has a close connection to human life. Hence it is necessary that while designing, a designer must truly express his or her own self.” 

Bhagyashree Patwardhan said, “While working in the field of designing, it is necessary that a designer must develop his or her unique method. Every time, a novelty should be seen in your work. India is a country rich with art and culture. Hence, it is necessary that every designer is open to learning new technology, conduct new experiments in order to get better.” 

This programme will give a direction and inspiration to the students who wish to make a career in the field of designing. The young students, as well as professors, will get a chance to work with professionals working in the field.
