Rainfall predicted across country

The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Barmer, Sikar, Sonepat, Shimla, Dharmshala, Baderwah and Pahalgam

Pune: The southwest monsoon has further advanced into Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, all of National Capital Region (NCR) and some parts of Haryana, said India Meterological Department (IMD) officials.

The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Barmer, Sikar, Sonepat, Shimla, Dharmshala, Baderwah and Pahalgam.

The IMD has predicted fairly widespread rainfall over northwest India, including Delhi, in the coming days.

The IMD has also warned about heavy rain at isolated places over east Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh during the next two to three days. The IMD has also forecast rain at most places over the west coast, north-east, east India and central India.
