Puducherry: Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy on Sunday demanded that Karnataka governor Vajubhai Vala should express regret and resign for violating guidelines and inviting B S Yeddyurappa to form the government in the state.

Talking to news persons, Narayanasamy also demanded that the BJP leadership should tender an open apology to the people of Karnataka.

He alleged that the BJP has adopted the same tactic "operation Lotus" in Karnataka like in Goa, Manipur and Meghalaya to "purchase" legislators to form a BJP government. However, the dream of the BJP was shattered.

The recorded voice of Mining Baron Gali Janardhan Reddy, Mr Yeddyurappa and his son luring Congress legislators with offers came out , he said, nothing had been materialized and the people and legislators of Karnataka taught a lesson to the BJP.

Narayanasamy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi who used to say that he respects democracy and Constitution remained mute spectator and supported the "Ministry toppling" activity in Karnataka.

At least here after the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre should stop giving trouble to the elected governments in states through the governors and Lt.Governors, the Chief Minister said.
