“There is a possibility that the Mumbai and the BMC administration is a soft target for questions that will be negative for Shiv Sena,” said Uddhav at the meeting.

PUNE: Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray asked his party cadre to be ready to tackle pressure tactics from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after the presidential election on July 17.

Thackeray met party MLA and leaders in Mumbai. At the meeting, it was said that the BJP is going to be on the offensive against Shiv Sena after the election. Thackeray has sought reports from the party leaders over the party’s preparedness, especially at civic bodies where the Sena is in power, in case BJP creates problems at Sena’s power centres.

“There is a possibility that the Mumbai and the BMC administration is a soft target for questions that will be negative for Shiv Sena,” said Uddhav at the meeting.
