MUMBAI: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is likely to reveal his party’s strategy and stand with the government at the annual Dussehra rally on Saturday.

Thousands of Shiv Sena workers are likely to gather at the Shivaji Park Ground in Dadar, which has been the venue for the annual event for decades. Party workers too are keenly waiting for the rally, as Uddhav Thackeray will be speaking on several important issues.

The stampede at Elphinstone Road railway station will also be a big issue and Thackeray is likely to take on the Union government and Railway Ministry over it.

Recently, Shiv Sena spokesperson and MP Sanjay Raut said the party has almost made the decision to quit the government and Uddhav Thackeray has endorsed it. Uddhav Thackeray told party MLAs and Sena workers at a meeting that the Sena has made the decision.

Shiv Sena has already set a deadline before the BJP-led State government to fully implement its loan waiver scheme before Dussehra. Thackeray will speak about the issue in the rally.
