Prashant Kishore likely to lead Shiv Sena poll campaign

Shiv Sena MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that the Shiv Sena would play the role of the big brother. He indicated that there would be no alliance between the two parties. 

Mumbai: Political strategist and campaigner Prashant Kishore may lead the Shiv Sena’s campaign in the Lok Sabha elections.
 
Kishore on Tuesday met Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree and made a presentation before the Shiv Sena members of parliament (MPs).

The Shiv Sena and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are yet to decide on their alliance for the elections. However, the Shiv Sena is using pressure tactics against the BJP to win a deal in its favourable. 

Thackeray called an urgent meeting of his party MPs at Matoshree, where Kishore was also invited.

kishore had handled the BJP's campaign in 2014. Later, he joined the JDU under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.

Thackeray and Kishore discussed issues related to the elections. Later, he made the presentation before the MPs detailing the preparation for the elections.

“Prashant Kishore was invited by the party chief. He made the presentation. We will decide the future course of action after the meeting,” said Raut.
