“Shiv Sena has already scheduled the programme and it is nothing to do with PM Modi’s programme,” said Sena leader Sanjay Raut.

Mumbai: The tug of war is going on between alliance partners BJP and Shiv Sena, as leaders of both the parties are on State tour on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be launching development projects in Solapur, while Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray is on a State tour to distribute relief materials to the farmers in Marathwada.

Thackeray is scheduled to visit the drought-affected Beed and Jalna districts to attend programmes of distribution of relief material to drought-affected farmers.

On the same day, PM will launch four-laning of Solapur-Osmanabad section of NH-211. Modi will also lay the foundation stone of 30,000 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for beedi workers and textile workers.

“Shiv Sena has already scheduled the programme and it is nothing to do with PM Modi’s programme,” said Sena leader Sanjay Raut.

“Sena had already started relief work for drought affected farmers. We don’t need to show that we are focusing on relief work for farmers, while BJP is inaugurating various projects,” he added.
