In another nation-wide survey conducted by the YouGov on behalf of Happn to study how the social habits of Indians have changed with the digital era, it was found that over 54 per cent Indians meet new people online.
“The survey highlights that Indians are growing more and more digital when it comes to their social life. Today, the internet is a space for new social connection that most Indians have already adopted as over half of Indians say they meet new people online (54 per cent), a proportion that’s even higher amongst people between 30 years to 39 years. Social media, apps, etc, are the fourth most common way of meeting new people, after friends, work and family in order of importance,” officials stated.
