Pune: The Maharashtra State Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has released the first provisional merit list for students seeking admission in under-graduate courses for MBBS, BDS and other medical courses for the academic year 2017-18.
The DMER website has also published details about intake capacity of around 22 government colleges and 16 private colleges. Cut off list of BHMS, BAMS, BDS and other information related to admission procedure are also updated on DMER website.
Online information brochure is also available on the website. A notice document issued by DMER mentions that Information Brochure contains all information required by candidates during Document Verification Process and for the purpose of seeking admission.
It includes General Instructions to the Candidates for filing online preference form, method of scrutiny of documents and method of selection and admission. The Candidate should attend the Document Verification Process as per the schedule set out hereunder at the Regional Centers.
Candidates should download the Information Brochure from website www.dmer.org. Copy of Information Brochure will not be provided to Candidate at the time of Document Verification Process.
Regional centres for Document Verification Process - as per the Centre chosen by the Candidate in his/her application form for Maharashtra Quota Seats are; Grant Government Medical College, Sir JJ Hospital Campus, Byculla, Mumbai, BJ Government Medical College, Sassoon Hospital Campus in Pune, Government Medical College, Ghati Hospital Campus in Aurangabad and Government Medical College, Hanuman Nagar in Nagpur.
