Meet reviews ongoing work of Purandar airport

Pune: A review meeting for the proposed Purandar Airport was chaired by Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha held in New Delhi on Tuesday. 

Present for the meeting were MP Anil Shirole, MP Supriya Sule, Baramati MP, RN Choube, Secretary of Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways and Suresh Kakani, Managing Director of Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC).

Pune: A review meeting for the proposed Purandar Airport was chaired by Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha held in New Delhi on Tuesday. 

Present for the meeting were MP Anil Shirole, MP Supriya Sule, Baramati MP, RN Choube, Secretary of Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways and Suresh Kakani, Managing Director of Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC).

Shirole said, “The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing work at Purandar airport. We have discussed the proposed ring road, railway connection with the airport and other issues. The matter will be discussed with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.”

Sule said, “While acquiring land for the airport, villagers should get proper compensation. The project should be completed as soon as possible by taking the proper route.”
