Maharashtra Board HSC 2018 results declared
The students can access the results from 1 PM
Pune: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the results of its Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination, the Std XII Board examination, today.
The students can access the results from 1 PM at www.mahresult.nic.in, www.result.mkcl.org, www.maharshtraeducation.com, www.knowyourresult.com. The marksheets will be made available at their respective junior college from 3 pm onward on June 12.
This year, the State Board has recorded a pass percentage of 88.41, while in Pune division, 89.58 per cent of the students passed this year.
The overall pass percentage has dropped by 1.09 per cent, from 89.50 per cent last year.
The Board examination was conducted in all the nine divisions, out of which Konkan division as usual recorded the highest pass percentage of 94.85, while the Nashik division has the lowest, that is 86.13 pass percentage.
Girls outshine boys in a yet another result, as the passing percentage among girls is 92.36 per cent, while in boys it is 85.23 per cent.
A total of 1,039 copy cases and 12 dummy cases were recorded in Maharashtra this year.
In Pune division, 35 results have been kept on reserve and 38 candidates have been debarred for reasons like malpractices in examination. As far as the fate of the students whose answer-sheets were accidentally burnt in Beed, the students have been been given average marking in that subject, as per the Board rules.
The applications for the re-evaluation of answer-sheets will be received by the Board from tomorrow, May 31 till June 9.
For photocopies of the answer-sheets, the students can apply from May 31 to June 19.
Like last year, even this time, the answer-sheets of the students who have appeared for JEE will be evaluated on priority basis.
