June 13 is the deadline for HSC re-exam applications

The students who want to go for re-examination or class improvement need to apply online by June 13

Pune: The last day to apply for the re-examination or class improvement scheme for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) is June 13, said Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) in a press release. 

The students who want to go for re-examination or class improvement need to apply online by June 13. 

The re-examination is held in the month of July so that the students do not loose their academic year. The application forms are available at the website www.mahasscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. 

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results were declared on May 30 this year. The students appearing for class improvement will get two chances, in July-August 2018 examination and in February-March 2019.

Apart from Latur and Konkan divisions, the higher secondary schools and junior colleges in other divisions need to pay the fees at a Bank of India branch and submit the challan to their respective divisional boards by June 18. While with the late fees, the deadline is June 22.

The Board has also clearly stated that unlike the practice earlier, no re-examination will be conducted on September-October 2018 this year. This is the only re-exam this year.
