CM performs puja at Varsha

Several state government ministers were present at the temple in Pandharpur

Mumbai: CM Devendra Fadnavis performed puja at his official residence, Varsha on Monday, after he cancelled his visit to the Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir in Pandharpur in the wake of the Maratha Kranti morcha agitation.

On the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, CM  Fadnavis and his wife performed the mahapuja at home.  “Let the farmers of the state be happy, please fulfill all wishes of the people and take the state to the top,” he prayed.

Fadnavis expressed happiness for the honour put on farmer couple Varsha Jadhav and Anil Gangadhar Jadhav of Bhagwati village to perform mahapuja at the temple in Pandharpur.  

The Jadhav couple has been participating in  Ashadhi Wari for last four years. A free bus pass of ST corporation was given  to them by Transport Minister Divakar Raote.

Several state government ministers were present at the temple in Pandharpur.
