“There wasn't a single seat vacant from last week of April to May-end. Since it was summer, many people travel to hill stations like Shimla and this is also a reason for the good response to the flight,” he added.
The flight departs from Chandigarh at 10.50 am and arrives Pune at 1.20 pm. The aircraft departs from Pune at 2 pm and arrives in Chandigarh at 4.30 pm.

Deepak Singh Saini (38) a frequent flier, said “There were no direct trains or flights from Pune to Chandigarh and so I used to go via Delhi. The direct flight takes minimum time to reach Chandigarh and arrive at Pune.”

Not only passengers but corporate houses are also taking advantage of this flight. "Employees from John Deere, Mahindra and Mahindra and Forbes are also travelling between Pune and Chandigarh. We are hopeful that the response from the fliers will increase in coming days,” said Jadhav.
