Pune: Suzuki Motorcycle India on Monday made a foray into the premium 250cc segment for the first time in India with the launch of all new Gixxer SF 250. It has launched the Gixxer SF 150 in the same series.
With the new bikes, Suzuki is hoping to ride on the popularity of sports biking. The Japanese two-wheeler major has introduced the high-performance Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) enabled four-stroke and SOHC engine originally developed for the GSX-R.
The two bikes equipped with weight-reduction and friction-reduction technology developed for MotoGP machine to offer an enhanced riding experience were launched on Monday in the city.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF Series is meant for sport touring aside from daily riding that is targeted at sport touring bike aficionados.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF series will be available in fully fared versions and only at ‘Suzuki Premium’ dealerships.
