Samsung launches its festive offer

Pune: Following the overwhelming response to their recently launched smartphones in Maharashtra, Samsung has announced a festive offer ‘Never Mind’ for buyers of Samsung smartphones in Maharashtra. The offer enables customers who purchase a smartphone between September 21 and October 21, to avail one-time screen replacement within 12 months of purchase.

Speaking about the offer, Vice President, Samsung India, Raju Pullan said, “Never Mind is a special and innovative offer for customers in Maharashtra. This offer is our way of thanking the people of Maharashtra for their love and trust. Repairing a broken screen is expensive as the LED screen costs about 30 per cent of the smartphone cost.  The offer is aimed at adding joy and excitement of the festive season with a one-time screen replacement offer, by paying Rs 990 at the time of repair as labour charges.”

He said the offer extends across smartphone models costing about Rs 9,000.

Pullan added that Samsung India has seen 45 per cent market share in the smartphone segment in Maharashtra. “The market share of our smartphones at the national level is 43 per cent. Speaking of the premium smartphone segment, we hold 68 per cent market share in the country. Our recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has received 2.5 lakh pre-bookings,” he said.

Pullan added that having the second largest Research & Development (R&D) centre in India, after Korea, has enabled them to innovate based on the needs of Indian citizens.

“The Galaxy J series has been a flagbearer of Samsung’s commitment to Indian customers. The J series ‘Make In India’ innovations such as Ultra Data Saving mode to save battery, S bike mode which filters calls one receives while riding a two-wheeler, S Power Planning and other has added immense value to the customers,” he stated.
