Pune: Mobile company LAVA International Limited, on Thursday, launched its new smartphone in Z series ‘LAVA Z61,’ which has a stylish design and flagship camera features. While speaking at the launch, Deepak Mahajan, Vice President, Lava International, said that they are eyeing the Rs 4,000 to Rs 12,000 smartphone market.
“The new Z61 offers ‘Sharp Click’ technology, allowing users to capture even the smallest details. The LAVA Z61 is an 18:9 full-screen smartphone with best-in-class design, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 3000MaH battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs 5750 and is powered with an 8MP autofocus rear camera, 5MP front camera,” added Mahajan.
The Vice President said that the company is designing all its parts themselves and the new variant of LAVA Z61 will come with a 2GB RAM. LAVA Z61 is one of the sleekest smartphones in its category with 8.65mm thickness. The smartphone’s laser finish design makes it look slimmer, enhancing its premium style quotient.
Supported by Android Oreo (Go edition) for 1GB and Android 8.1 Oreo for 2GB, Z61 provides a powerful experience. The 3000 mAh battery boosts performance, lasting up to 1.5 days with a single charge. “Further, the battery is supported with AI technology - which not only monitors phone’s battery consumption but also shuts down apps running in the background that the user hasn’t touched for a while,” added Mahajan. LAVA has also partnered with Reliance Jio, a world-class all-IP 4G LTE network and the largest mobile data network in the world, for a special cashback-offer on the complete range of 4G smartphones.
Consumers get Rs 2,200 instant cashback on the latest Z61 on using the phone with a Jio sim card. Under this offer; all Z61 users will get 44 cashback vouchers of Rs 50 each - these will be disbursed to the customer at the very first recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299.
