Pune: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI), the No.1 selling two-wheeler brand in Maharashtra, launched CLIQ, it is all new 110cc scooter specially developed to give maximum utility with an additional value of comfort and convenience in the city on Wednesday.
The CLIQ is available in four colours at a price of Rs 43,076.
The new CLIQ marks ‘Honda Two-Wheelers India’s next big step to take scooterisation in Maharashtra, which is India’s biggest scooter market, beyond the urban demand centres.
Elaborating on Honda Two-Wheelers India, Senior Vice President, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd, Yadvinder Singh Guleria said, “In Maharashtra, over 40 per cent contribution to two-wheeler sales comes from scooters. As an early adopter of scooterisation, there is an increased demand and varied customer needs emerging in the state and scooter segment is now ripe for sub segmentation. Honda continues to lead the scooterisation of the nation and our new launch CLIQ is Honda’s next step to take scooterisation deeper into the hinterlands.”
According to him, CLIQ is developed for the up country customers with a progressive mindset and is a true disruptor in the 100-110cc segment.
