Zubair Khan claims that Salman has ruined his image

Zubair Khan, who was moved out of the Bigg Boss house on Saturday due to health reasons, has filed a written complaint against Salman Khan, the host of the show. When Sakal Times got in touch with Zubair, he claimed that he was on his way to Lonavala to file an FIR after the Mumbai Police refused to entertain him and directed him to the concerned police station in Lonavala.

Said Zubair, “The reason I am filing the complaint is because Salman Khan has insulted me on national television. He told me, ‘Tere ko kutta banaunga. Tu bahar nikal, tere ko chhodunga nahi. Tereko industry me kaam karne nahi doonga. Tere ko marunga’. I am going to sue Salman Khan, Colors’ channel and the production house Endemol Shine.”

The makers had said that Zubair was unwell and therefore had to be shifted to the hospital. But Zubair claimed that he tried to commit suicide by consuming pills for his depression, to get out of the office.

Zubair said that Salman hit out at him, despite the fact that he was objecting to those who were making fun of religion and sexuality on the show. “Akash Dadlani, Shilpa Shinde, Arshi Khan and Puneesh Sharma have been making fun of religion. They were talking all kind of rubbish things about Sshivani Durga, who is a sadhvi. She is such a decent lady but they have been continuously making fun of her. They are also making fun of Vikas Gupta, who is gay. It’s his personal choice. Who are these guys to make fun of him?,” asked the filmmaker.

He added, “Are the channel and Salman deaf and blind? Can’t they see the way these four have been hurting religious sentiments? They have been using foul language on the show. Instead of scolding and punishing Akash, Shilpa, Arshi and Puneesh, Salman insulted me on the show.”

Zubair has been maintaining that he was on the show to get his children back, who were taken away by his in-laws, after a news report in 2011 claimed that he is related to Dawood Ibrahim’s family. “Ten days before the show began, the makers had locked me so that I get used to live in isolation. In that period, because they wanted high TRPs, they promoted me as Haseena Parkar’s son-in-law. In fact, the celebs in the house were initially scared of me, because they thought I am Dawood Ibrahim’s relative,” he said.

The filmmaker said that not once did he claim on the show that he is Dawood’s relative. “The channel is maligning my reputation. The channel had asked me to be completely bindaas on the show. They had said that slangs are allowed, but not physical assault. I haven’t assaulted anyone,” he said.

Zubair also alleged that he knew all about the actor’s “connections and liaisons”.  “On what basis has Salman insulted me? Is he clean himself?,” Zubair asked.

He said that show is completely scripted and each one has been asked to fight with the other for TRPs. “On Saturday, Salman Khan, through the ear piece, is told whom to target. I have been under depression for years since my wife and children left me. Now being on the show has scared me further,” Zubair said.
