As the first season of Shah Rukh Khan’s TED Talks India Nayi Soch inches closer to finale, makers are contemplating launching the second season with King Khan.

While Shah Rukh has been pretty inspired by the speakers on the show, the makers are keen to have him deliver his TED Talk in the very first episode of the next season.

Add to this, the makers have approached musician A R Rahman and superstar Rajinikanth as speakers in the next season. A source close to the team said, “Makers wanted Rahman in season one itself. However, it didn’t work out due to date issues. He is on-board in the new season along with Rajinikanth.”

After airing seven episodes in the first season, followed by the finale which will be a combination of the best five speakers from the entire season, the first season will wrap up by the end of this month. The source added, “The producers are happy with the way the show has panned out and are keen that Shah Rukh Khan reprises as a speaker next season. The contract is currently being worked out. The channel is still in the process of roping in speakers and working out the dates. If they manage to zero in on all the speakers in time, the season may kick start during Diwali.”
