Amidst all the noise over Padmavati release, the maker and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been approached to judge talent-based reality show on STAR Plus -India’s Next Superstars. According to sources, the makers wanted to elevate the scale of the show and hence the decision to have three diverse yet blockbuster filmmakers on one judging panel.
“Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been known for giving some of the most breathtaking sets and larger than life storytelling with his films, fitting into the grandeur of the show perfectly,” says a source from the channel.
The show has already created a huge buzz amongst the audience as Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty have also shot for the first promo of the show. With Kareena off the list, the makers were looking for a third judge on the show and now they seem to have been hoping to sign SLB for the panel.
