Sheesha: Mirror of your needs

Sheesha: Mirror of your needs

Recently, the sixth outlet of Sheesha was started in Pune by Kapil Dholepatil and Ebrahim Chiniwala. A brainchild of Chef Kadar Khan, who has exhibited his culinary skills in several European and West Asian countries in the past, the brand Sheesha took birth in 2000. Khan named it after the idea of ‘Mirror of your needs’.

A 170-seater open air restaurant, located in Ishanya Mall, Pune, Sheesha is beautifully decorated with greens and has wooden cabana seating with white curtains.

Operational from 11 am to 1 am, the restaurant serves North Indian Awadhi-Mughlai Cuisine. Chef Kadar Khan can add over 350 types of kebabs and he has tastefully handpicked the kebabs for the Pune menu. Some of his speciality dishes here are Tangdi Kulfi, Kadar-e-shaan Gosht, Nalli Barra Kebab, Gosht Galauti Kebab amongst the others. All the masalas used for cooking are prepared inhouse and the use of saffron is very prominent in most dishes on the menu, as also the use of Tandoori style of cooking, where coal stones are used to bring out the most exquisite flavours in the grilled dishes.

Sheesha has a soothing vibe due to the special properties like Mehfil-e-Qawwali Night, Sufi Night, Unplugged musical nights among a few others. Talented artists take the stage and entertain guests at the property offering an environment which will create a distinctive dining experience.

So Pune, here’s a secret hideout rooftop location for unwinding under the stars for some great drinks and food! Go, indulge!
