A fashion show titled Shivjaatasya was held on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti, birth anniversary of  Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Organised by Maha Fashion Foundation and Tasta, Shivjaatasya displayed costumes and accessories worn by the Maratha warrior king. Held at Vrindavan Lawns, the collection featured Shivaji Maharaj’s dressing style, the ornaments he wore, and the mojadis. Deepak Mane, who has designed the costumes, says, “People love to dress like kings and queens on important milestones of their life. Till date, Maharashtra’s most important and revered king, Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s dressing style has not been incorporated in weddings. Keeping this in mind, we tried to create this unique collection.”

Tasta also had an opportunity to showcase their collection in London Fashion Week last year.
