Adding an engaging story to its bouquet of offerings, Colors is all set to launch a unique love story Tu Aashiqui. Music will form the perfect backdrop for Ahaan (played by Ritvik Arora) and Pankti’s (played by Jannat Zubair) love-filled relationship. The makers have now roped in popular actors Rahil Azam and Gauri Pradhan in pivotal roles. While Rahil will play a negative character, Jayant Dhanrajgir, Gauri Pradhan will be essaying the role of Pankti’s mother Anita.

Talking about his character, Rahil said, “Throughout my career, I have chosen roles that would help me to break out of the image that I had previously established with my roles. This is the first time that I will be working with Gurudev Bhalla, who believed that I could do this role and it’s an honour for me to be recognised for my work.”

He further said, “Jayant Dhanrajgir’s character has many layers which will make it an interesting watch for the viewers. With this show, it’s going to be my first association with Colors which is known for some of the most remarkable shows on television and I am really looking forward to it. I sincerely hope that the audiences appreciate our efforts.”

Commenting on her role, Gauri said, “Colors has this beautiful way of narrating even the most complicated love stories so that the audiences get drawn into a parallel universe. Anita’s character, even as Pankti’s mother, has a very strong side to it with a lot of complexities. It’s something that has excited me enough to return to television with much gusto after Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, and I am really looking forward to the experience. I hope that the viewers enjoy watching the show and support us in this endeavour.”
