After finishing her acting assignments in Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra is on a signing spree in Bollywood. She will soon start shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, which will also star Salman Khan and Disha Patani.

On late Sunday night, the actress confirmed through her social media page that she has already started prepping for director-writer Shonali Bose’s next titled The Sky Is Pink. Priyanka shared a photograph of the film’s draft on her Instagram stories. The draft also mentioned that the film is written by Shonali, who has previously directed films like Amu and Margarita with a Straw, additional screenplay by Nilesh Maniyar and dialogues by Juhu Chaturvedi.

She captioned the photograph: “And it begins... Prep. Hindi movie.” The Sky Is Pink reportedly revolves around Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13.

For months, there were speculation about both Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka reuniting for the project but none of the actors nor the makers neither confirmed or denied the news. Reports suggest that Priyanka will play Aisha’s mother in the film and Zaira Wasim has been approached to play the title role. We are waiting for the makers to make an official statement about the rest of the cast.

On the personal front, the actress has been in the news for her relationship with singer-actor Nick Jonas, with whom she has been spotted spending time in New York and India. ST
