Pika Pika

Pika Pika

You literally won’t need a detective to solve the extraordinary case of a thousands of Pikachus coming together to parade on the street of Yokohama, Japan! As grand as it sounds to any Pokemon fan, the sight is even more breathtaking as the Pikachus are back for another outbreak. The oversized, open-mouthed electric mice have taken over the Minato Mirai district for a week and will be in the district till August 12 for a variety of evening performances.

This year’s Pikachu Outbreak extravaganza features 2,000 Pikachu in various forms — large, small, stuffed and moving. Since the fans have already seen the Pikachus performing last evening, #pikachuoutbreak have been trending online as fans and visitors have taken to the internet to post images and video glimpses of Pikachus. The videos and images show the most loved pokemon in every possible aspect, be it on the subway, restaurant and even on the streets. And it is not just kids who are super thrilled looking and interacting with the yellow rodents but also adults are having their fan moments.

All the Pickachu performances are free of cost and, most importantly, the outbreak is a delightful one!
