Meet Me on The Meadow
The highlight of Pune Natyasattak is the overnight theatre festival called Natyasattak Rajani, which crowns the Republic Day celebrations. The Rajani, which is in its third edition this year, offers dance and theatrical performances and also tete-e-tete with actor Subodh Bhave. Kushal Khot of Wide Wings Media gives the details of the performances which will be showcased on the night of January 25 and conclude on the morning of January 26.
This classical music-dance performance by Sharvari Jamenis and Mayur Vaidya gives a new spin to the Radha-Krishna metaphor. The Anita Kulkarni Production will be staged on January 25 at 10 pm.
Presented by Theatron entertainment, Mickey revolves around three barbers who form a twisted plan to use a dead body to solve their financial woes. Rubaru with Subodh Bhave
Actor Subodh Bhave, who is currently on a celluloid high, will share a few anecdotes from his journey as an actor, director and the people that he has met along the way. Get up close with the actor as the clock strikes midnight.
Itihas Gawah Hai
Itihas Gawah Hai is an visual extravaganza with opulent sets, and live dances and music. The play by Aaj Kal, revolves around a writer, who is penning a historical biopic. He travels back in time to find out that history can be partial. He faces opposition when he decides to change the film. It will be staged at 5.30 am on January 26.
