The actress who was last seen in music video of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s romantic single Banjarey is set to appear in a short film.
The film titled The Playboy Mr Sawhney, is a love story which also features Jackie Shroff and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
According to sources, the actress will be playing the role of a revolutionary writer by the name of Maya in the short film.
Written and directed by debutant director Tariq Siddiqui, the film also stars Divya Dutta among others.
