“The main reason behind launching the show at this heritage temple is the significance behind it. It’s a temple dedicated to the mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law of the nation to glorify the relationship they share. A king back in the 10th century in Mahipala of Kachchhwaha dynasty got it reconstructed,” said a source close to the show.

Star Plus’ upcoming show Ek Bhram - Sarvagun Sampanna is making all the right noise owing to the unique launch strategy. The makers flew down to a 1000-year-old heritage Saas-Bahu temple in Udaipur along with the lead protagonist Janhvi Mittal (essayed by Shrenu Parikh) who launched the show.

The concept of the show is completely unique as it tells the story of an antagonist bahu as opposed to the conventional docile daughter-in-law.  The show, however, is inspired by a real story of a high profile influential family, which the makers are extremely confidential about.

“The creators have been strictly instructed to keep the details of the family under wraps, as the reputed family fears exposing the controversial story,” the source further adds.

The show is directed by Sumit Sodani and produced by Sunny Side Up Films. It also stars Zain Imam. The show is slated to on air from April 22, at 7 pm.
