Make way for Salman

Make way for Salman

Be it Tan tana tan, O o jaane jaana, Hud hud Dabangg, Jeene ke hain chaar din, or the most recent Swag se swagat, a Salman Khan song becomes an anthem. The entertainment quotient in every award show is incomplete without a Salman Khan performance. His unbeatable energy on stage and his connect with the audience is quite unmatchable. His signature moves and cool swag while he is swaying to some of his hit numbers send his fans on an euphoria of visual extravaganza. Whether you are a Salman fan or not, seeing him dance on stage is a visual treat.

In case you idolise the star, here’s a treat for you. After enthralling the audience in Hong Kong, Auckland, Melbourne, Delhi and other cities across the world, ‘Da-Bangg The Tour’ is all set to take Pune on an exciting and star-studded evening of entertainment, fun, music and dance where Salman along with Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Prabhu Dheva, Daisy Shah, Guru Randhawa and Maniesh Paul will give power-packed performances. Four Pillars Events in association with 18 Degrees and Nirman Group in association with Sakal is bringing Da-Bangg The Tour to Pune on March 24 at Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex, Mhalunge, Balewadi. The event is managed, directed and scripted by Sohail Khan Entertainment and JA Events.

While the star is gearing up to mesmerise you with his moves, his fans in the city can’t wait to see him set the stage on fire with his electrifying performance. They want him to dance to their favourite number. Sana Hammad, a home-maker, says she can’t wait to see her idol dance live to O o jaane jaana, Jumme ki raat, and Swag se swagat. “Watching Salman is a sheer delight. His dance moves are so unique that only he can do them. O o jaane jaana is an iconic song. I fell in love with him when I saw him in the video. I would love to see him perform on this song. Jumme ki raat and Swag se swagat are very catchy and upbeat numbers and while he will be dancing to them on stage, I will be dancing too standing in the crowd,” adds Hammad from Kondwa.

Prativa Rai, who loves watching Salman as Chul Bul Pandey from Dabangg, says she has always dreamt of watching the 52-year-old actor reprising Pandeyji on stage. “The charm of Chul Bul Pandey is unmissable. It would be like a dream come true if he performs on Hud Hud Dabangg in front of us and do that dance move where he moves his belt with such sophistication,” says Rai, an IT professional from Hinjewadi.

While many can’t wait to see Salman perform live, others want to see him and Katrina perform together. “It would be a moment of great excitement if Katrina and my favourite star shake a leg to number like Just Chill, Kendi Po, Swag se Swag, Banjaara. The pair looks great together and their chemistry and energy is a treat for their fans,” says Zufain Hassan, 28.

Without a doubt people love to see him do some pelvic thrusting moves to his high octave fast numbers, but there are fans who wish that he dance to some slow tracks too. “Jag ghumeya, Mere rang me, Dil diyaan galla etc are such beautiful numbers. He must perform on these numbers. Also, I want him to take us down the memory lane by dancing to songs from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Maine Pyaar Kiya etc,” says Sheeta Jain, a graphic designer.
