Kirti Kulhari to play a pilot in Ronnie Screwvala’s next

After her stellar performances in Pink, Indu Sarkar, and soon-to-be-released comedy Blackmail starring Irrfan Khan, Kirti Kulhari is all set to be seen as a pilot in her next project. The film produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Aditya Dhar, is based on 2016 Uri attacks. It also stars Vicky Kaushal in pivotal role.

It’s common for actors to learn a new skill for a role and to bring authenticity to her character and prepare for her role, Kirti will learn to fly planes.

After her stellar performances in Pink, Indu Sarkar, and soon-to-be-released comedy Blackmail starring Irrfan Khan, Kirti Kulhari is all set to be seen as a pilot in her next project. “Looking at her past performances, Kirti has a knack for choosing different characters showing her versatility as an actor,” says a source close to the actress.

The 2016 Uri attacks are reported as “the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades”. Four heavily armed militants on September 18, 2016 attacked  Indian Army brigade headquarters near the town of Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. The militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed was accused by India of being involved in the planning and execution of the attack, although there is no proof.
