A healthy joint

More and more people today are opting for a healthy lifestyle. Keeping this trend in mind Shubham Goyal and Kantilal Bhatiya launched the brand NutriMiller that offers dry fruit, nuts and health snacks. Their products will be now be available at a brand new showroom — GB Dry Fruits at Market Yard. Priced competitively, the range of products suit every age group. Goyal, owner of GB Dry Fruits and co-founder of the brand says, “Our family has been into this market sector for the past three generations and with NutriMiller we are taking the business a notch higher by introducing a homegrown brand from our very own city of Pune. With the changing lifestyles, we saw a requirement in the market for natural and sugar-free healthy snacks.”

Charu Bansal, creative partner, NutriMiller further adds, “We have established ourselves in this business since the last 40 years and we have a wholesale network. Pune has a very sensible market and nowadays people are concerned about what they eat. Quality of food is an important factor for them and NutriMiller meets their needs and suits their pockets.”

They also have a special range of exotic dry fruits and nuts, dates and granola bars, peanut butter energy bites, dry fig bars, chocolate protein bars, seeds and nuts trail, cookies and more.  “We have an exotic range of products like pecans, Brazil nuts, goji berries, blue berries and a lot many varieties of dry fruits and nuts which are not available in Pune market. We wanted to introduce these products to people here because most of them are good for health and nutrition. These products are also recommended by doctors and nutritionists,” says Bansal.

The showroom
The 1,500 square feet, fully air-conditioned store has 150 glass jars displaying the range of products under six categories. A cold storage room is designed and used to ensure no climatic condition hampers the quality of any products. “Our main objective to relocate the store is visibility. Our store is easy to locate and access. The ambiance looks rich, just like our dry fruits,” she quips, adding, “We have made sure that each and every product is visible and fits in properly.”

While maintaining a lavish air-conditioned shop sounds expensive, how do they manage to offer competitive pricing? “It is very important to keep the showroom air-conditioned so that the products are protected from humidity and dust. Our products are reasonable because we deal directly with manufacturers and suppliers who deal with dry fruits and nuts. We do not believe in competing with other brands as we are very confident about our variety of products,” says Bansal.

With huge competition in this market sector, the brand is optimistic about standing out. “We stand out in quality. Rich nuts do not need competition, they speak for themselves. Variety and quality are the things we believe in, which definitely works for the brand,” she says.
