To commemorate this exciting milestone and show their sincere gratitude to the city, Novotel Pune hosted a gala celebration with ‘Traditional Puneri’ as its theme. The occasion was graced by the crème de la crème of the city including Marathi actress Ruchita Jadhav, socialite Rashmi Dalal, model Chahat Dalal, Umesh Durve, Head of Jio, Maharashtra and Goa and many others.
The party was organised at their poolside restaurant Soak. In sync with the theme, the staff dressed in Maharashtrian traditional outfits. The event also saw the Maharashtrian folk dance performances and a ShankhNaad which exuded the local flavour.
All the guests were welcomed with Kairi Panha and a delectable spread of local Maharashtrian cuisine such as Gavran Chicken Kala Rassa, Subz Kohlapuri, Masala Bhaat, Basundi, Shrikand and more.
