Aahana to be the guest of honour at the Darwin International Film Festival

Actress Aahana Kumra who grabbed attention for her fine and realistic performance in her last hit film Lipstick Under My Burka, is all set to be part of the prestigious Darwin International Film Festival (DIFF) which is held in Australia.

Being part of one of the most discussed films of 2017, with highly controversial background, Aahana will be representing the entire team, as the film will be screened on the grand opening of the fest. “The actress is expected to be in Australia for a span of 10 days where she will be seen attending the fest and later getting involved in her other professional commitments.

It is known that the Aahana who is currently doing a play titled Father with her mentor Naseeruddin Shah and his wife Ratna Pathak Shah, is overwhelmed with the honour and love she is receiving from all around the globe,” says a source close to the actress.

Talking about it, the talented actress says. “I am excited and honoured to be a part of the significant festival — Darwin International Film Festival. Lipstick...will be one of my most special film and it feels great that I would be representing on behalf of the entire team. I am looking forward for an eventful night and hoping to take lots of amazing memories back with me.”
