‘Stay healthy and happy’
Actress Esha Gupta shares her fitness secrets, regimes and how being healthy matters the most to her
Esha Gupta is one of the good looking and hottest Bollywood actors. The former model, who had won the Miss India International title in 2007, gives a lot of importance to fitness. She says, “Being healthy is the most important thing. Having all your organs in good shape matters a lot.”
“Fitness comes naturally to me; it’s in my genes because of of my dad, who is a retired Air Force officer. And I too prefer a healthy life,” says the actress who has worked in Jannat 2, Raaz 3D, Rustom, Baadshaho and others.
Esha says pretty early in her life, she became a health-conscious person. “I’ve been a sports girl all my life, so being fit is part of my routine life,” she explains.
The actress, currently shooting for JP Dutta’s Paltan, says that her health regime is a combination of healthy food, which includes vegan and gluten-free stuff, and regular workout and dance sessions. But the actress doesn’t compromise on her Sunday binges, she says, adding, “I also have major cravings for chips.”
Elaborating on her workout routine, she says it’s a mix of Mixed Martial Arts training, dancing, cardio and weight lifting. She says that she likes working out on her legs but hates working on her shoulders.
But shooting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be quite challenging considering actors also have other commitments like making appearances at social events, promotions and so on. Esha says, “I always work out after coming back from shoot, so that my body doesn’t become lazy. Workout keeps our body in action and our organs safe.”
The actress says that she loves all her body features as she is a narcissist. She adores Shilpa Shetty and Deepika Padukone’s body in Bollywood.
The actress says that those who want to have a healthy body should stay away from fad diets.
As for her mantra in life, she says, “Stay healthy and happy.”
